The ACC released its regular season baseball awards on Monday, with a pair of Tar Heels earning individual honors.

Junior right-hander JB Bukauskas took home the league’s Pitcher of the Year award, while rookie slugger Ashton McGee earned the ACC Freshman of the Year award.

Bukauskas, a consensus first round MLB Draft prospect, led the conference with a 1.87 ERA–all while sporting a perfect 8-0 record. He also struck out 106 batters compared to just 31 walks in 82 innings of work.

McGee started 49 of the team’s 55 games–including all 30 of UNC’s ACC matchups–and played a number of different positions as a freshman.

The native of Pikeville, North Carolina also led the Tar Heels with a .339 batting average, while hitting six home runs and driving in 39 RBIs.

Other award winners included a trio of Louisville Cardinals: Brendan McKay (ACC Player of the Year), Devin Hairston (ACC Defensive Player of the Year) and Dan McDonnell (ACC Coach of the Year).
