Coming off the first sweep over NC State in Raleigh in program history–a team ranked No. 3 in the country last week–the UNC baseball team moved up four spots to No. 6 in this week’s D1Baseball.com Top 25.

It matches the Tar Heels’ preseason ranking, which is also the highest they’ve been ranked all year after a 7-7 start to the season dropped them out of the polls.

Florida remains in the No. 1 spot, with Stanford, Oregon State, Ole Miss and Arkansas rounding out the rest of the top five in front of UNC.

Behind the Tar Heels in the top 10 is a list that includes: No. 7 UCLA, No. 8 NC State, No. 9 Texas Tech and No. 10 Clemson.

The only other ACC team besides UNC, NC State and Clemson in the mix is No. 13 Duke.

This week will see the Tar Heels take on UNC-Asheville on Tuesday before taking the weekend off from ACC play.
