Following its ninth straight ACC series win this past weekend, the UNC baseball team held on to its spot at No. 3 in the D1Baseball.com Top 25 for a third consecutive week.

The Tar Heels (41-10, 21-6 ACC) defeated Davidson and UNC-Asheville in a pair of mid-week games at home, before traveling to Blacksburg and taking two out of three from Virginia Tech on the road.

Oregon State and Louisville–the ACC Atlantic Division leader–continued to lock down the top two spots in the poll.

Behind the Tar Heels in the top five, is No. 4 Texas Tech and No. 5 Florida.

Other ACC teams included in the poll are: No. 12 Virginia, No. 13 Clemson and No. 19 Wake Forest.

The SEC–which has six schools in the mix–is the only conference with more squads in the top 25 than the ACC.

UNC will look to keep its spot among the nation’s elite teams in the final week of its regular season, as it plays host to UNC-Wilmington on Tuesday and Duke for a three-game set lasting from Thursday through Saturday.
