As his record-setting career as a Tar Heel approaches its conclusion, senior wide receiver Ryan Switzer continues to rake in the awards.

On Monday, Switzer was named the ACC Receiver of the Week for the third time in 2016 for his performance against The Citadel over the weekend.

The West Virginia native hauled in four passes for 93 yards in UNC’s win–including a 72-yard touchdown grab that gave the Tar Heels a two-score lead in the first quarter.

He previously took home the same honor for his electric performances in Week Four against Pittsburgh and Week Five against Florida State–a span where he tallied an ACC record 30 receptions across the two games.

To this point in 2016, Switzer has a career-best 78 receptions for 856 yards and four touchdowns.

With 226 catches in his career, he is the all-time leader in UNC history in that category. His 2,651 yards rank second in the school record book, trailing Hakeem Nicks by just 189 with at least two games remaining on the schedule.
