PHOENIX, AZ -Former Tar Heel and first-round draft pick, Jonathan Cooper, has reached an agreement with the Arizona Cardinals.

The rookie guard signed a four-year, $14.55 million contract. According to NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport, Cooper will receive a large chunk of his signing bonus—worth up to $9 million—up front in September and October.

Only two top-ten picks remain unsigned now: New York Jets cornerback Dee Milliner and Tennessee Titans guard Chance Warmack. The holdup for these contracts is usually for offset language which allows teams to not pay a player if he’s cut before his rookie contract expires.
