CHAPEL HILL – The UNC softball team returns to the top 25 after a 15-6 start and begins ACC play Saturday in Chapel Hill.

The Tar Heels have won nine of their last ten contests including all games in the Carolina Classic for which they played host and all but one game in the Wilson/DeMarini Invitational. The only loss came by the bats of No. 3 Arizona which handed Carolina a 7-4 decision.

The Eagles are 4-8 on the season and are coming off six straight defeats. The chance to redeem those losses was halted when the last three scheduled contests were cancelled due to inclement weather in New England, Wednesday and Thursday.

Carolina is 6-0 at home this season and holds an impressive 213-66-1 record on Williams Field at Anderson Stadium.

Junior Lori Spingola, who has already won ACC Pitcher of the Week twice this season, will likely start against BC. First pitch is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Saturday.
