Northwood High School football head coach Bill Hall says he’s only got one season left in him.

According to the News and Observer, Hall says he’s “tired of being tired”. He says since the job has become a year-round position, he can’t justify the amount of money he makes with the amount of time he puts into it. Therefore, he says he’ll make this upcoming season his last.

Hall has led the Chargers for 15 years and has been at the school for 27 years.

Northwood finished last season 8-4, 4-3 in the 3A Big Eight conference. The Chargers were knocked out of the first round of the NCSHAA state championship tournament in the first round by Eastern Alamance.
