CLAYTON, N.C.– The Orange Panthers survived a back-and-forth battle with Cleveland to pull out a 59-50 win to improve to 12-1 on the year and set up a much anticipated rematch with Southern Durham next week.
No. 2 Southern Durham shut down Cardinal Gibbons 33-28 to hold up their end of the bargain.
Orange’s Patrick Pettiford and Ky Muller were huge playmakers for the Panthers and spurred the offense on to the win over the Rams.
