CHAPEL HILL–Chapel Hill High School soccer standout Ben Fisher has achieved All-American status.

Fisher, a highs school junior, has been a member of the All-Conference soccer for three straight years starting in 2011. In 2012, Fisher snagged All-Region for his efforts on the field.

But 2013 ushered in huge accolades. Fisher was the primary offensive leader behind Chapel Hill’s Big Eight conference championship-winning team that was ranked No. 1 in the state for the regular season. And he was recognized for his outstanding play.

Fisher was ‘Mr. All-Everything.’ He was named All-Conference, All-Region, All-State, All-South and most impressively, All-American. Only two North Carolina athletes were selected on the All-American team.
