The sun was shining and the temperature was ideal for Carrboro’s first official “Open Streets” festival, which was presented by the town’s Bicycle Coalition. Although town officials were honoring various forms of transit, the day was designed to promote health and well-being through bicycling. Who wouldn’t enjoy a spring afternoon on the lovely Open Streets of Carrboro?
