Saturday marks the final day to early vote in the North Carolina primary. Voters will be choosing their party’s candidates for the general election for the offices of President, US Senate, Governor, Lt. First Challenger Files in Orange County Board of Commissioner Race

Orange County voters will have at least one race to decide in the March primary for the Board of County Commissioners. Challenger Bonnie Hauser filed for the District 2 seat on the board, where incumbent Renee Price has also filed for re-election. There will be a race for the at-large seat on the Orange County Board of Commissioners. Matt Hughes currently serves as the chair of the Orange County Democratic Party, a position he has held since 2011, and he announced his intention to run for the at-large seat in the 2016 election.
