Orange County’s Growing Senior Population, Limited Vaccine Supply Slows Distribution

On Thursday, North Carolina health officials revealed that they are changing their vaccine distribution plans to mirror guidance from the federal government. This new distribution criteria puts people age 65 and older ahead of other front-line essential workers and in the same group as those75 and older.
