Kids2Carolina 2013 Winter Update

I hope that this column finds everyone off to a great 2013 and having enjoyed a little touch of this snow and winter blast we received last night from mother nature! With being said, I wanted to follow-up on a great non-profit that I featured back in early December and provide you a winter update. Looking back on the year, Kids2Carolina had a great first year! We were able to send over 1400 kids to football games this past year. These are kids that traveled from all across the state to come visit UNC, from southwest Virginia to Asheville from Boone to Wilmington. Our mission at Kids2Carolina is to enrich the lives of underprivileged youth by providing access to a world-class university and state of the art athletic venues.
