CHAPEL HILL-Chapel Hill Fire officials responded Saturday night to a house fire on Pitch Pine Lane.

Three fire engines arrived around 7:40 p.m. to find fire on the side of the chimney and house. The strong winds had also caused flames to spread to the attic of the home. A total of 24 fire personnel were called to the scene, along with officials from the Chapel Hill Police Department and Orange County Emergency Services. The fire didn’t spread beyond the home’s roof area and one room adjacent to the chimney.

No injuries were reported in the incident. Officials say the fire started from the home’s fireplace
