CHAPEL HILL – UNC’s Board of Governors holds its monthly meeting Thursday and Friday to discuss, among other things, the university’s budget in the wake of impending cuts at the state level.

In addition to the budget and finance of the university system, the Board will hold committees on education planning and programs, enrollment management alternatives, and an external review of UNC Coastal and Marine Science.

While most of the events are open, committees on tenure, university governance, and the audit of the committee may partially be in closed session.

Meetings begin Thursday at 9:00 a.m. at the Spangler Center.
