CHAPEL HILL–North Carolina will hope to sustain its level of play it showcased Wednesday night in surprising No.1 Michigan State when the 5-2 Tar Heels welcome the 4-4 Spartans of UNC-Greensboro into the Dean Smith Center Saturday night for a 7 pm tip.

UNC never trailed Wednesday night and had five players in double figures in a solid offensive performance. The Tar Heels outrebounded Michigan State by 11.

Former Tar Heel player Wes Miller will bring his UNC-G squad to Chapel Hill with some confidence after watching how Carolina performed in losses to Belmont and UAB.

Saturday’s game marks the first meeting between the Carolina and UNC-G.

All the action begins tonight at 5:30 pm with Countdown to Tipoff right here on WCHL. And the game will be nationally televised on ESPNU.

The Tar Heel Take team also returns to duty Saturday night. WCHL/Chapelboro.com’s THT team will be on hand covering all the proceedings in the Dean Dome, so if you are heading to the game, be sure to look out for us!
