One of two southbound lanes of I-85 in Orange County is closed Friday.
North Carolina Department of Transportation officials first reported the wreck that is closing the left lane near the US-70 exit just before 11:40 a.m. Friday. There is no word on the severity of the crash at this time, but emergency officials are on the scene and traffic is experiencing delays.
There is no timeline immediately available for when the thoroughfare will reopen.
