A portion of Cameron Avenue in Chapel Hill has been shut down in the wake of a vehicle accident involving damage to a power pole.
According to a press release from the municipal government, that portion is from Wilson Street to Mallette Street.
The release states that Duke Energy is on site to assess the situation, with no indication of when it will be resolved.
Power is expected to be out in the vicinity of Cameron Avenue and Franklin and Church streets while repairs are completed.
