Chapel Hill Police are asking for assistance locating Nickolas James Ellison-Scarborough.
The 17-year-old was last seen on July 20, in the area of Pritchard Avenue, according to police.
Ellison-Scarborough was also reported missing last week but was quickly found.
Authorities describe Ellison-Scarborough as 6 feet tall and estimated to be 170 pounds.
