Burlington Police are investigating an accident after a pedestrian was struck on Saturday.
Authorities say officers responded to North Church Street just after seven o’clock Saturday evening in reference to a crash involving a 2004 Chevy Malibu and a pedestrian.
Police say 31-year-old Danielle Elaine Feeney, of Virginia, struck 51-year-old Joel Jeffrey Braham near the entrance of a Kentucky Fried Chicken on Highway 70.
Branham was transported by Duke Lifelight to UNC Hosptial for treatment, according to authorities. Branham was listed in critical condition, as of last update.
The accident is still under investigation.
