ORANGE COUNTY – Five children were injured after two buses from Pathways Elementary School collided in Hillsborough Monday afternoon.
The children were transported to UNC Hospitals with non-life threatening injuries, according to Jim Groves, Director of Orange County Emergency Services.
The crash happened around 3:30 p.m. on Strouds Creek Rd., which is just off Highway 57.
WRAL reports the driver of the second school bus will be charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid a collision.
