The Orange County Partnership to End Homelessness is looking for volunteers to help with its annual Project Connect event.

Project Connect is a free event that provides a wide range of essential services to people experiencing homelessness or those at risk of becoming homeless.

The event will take place on Tuesday, March 29, from 9:00 a.m. — 3:00 p.m. at the Hargraves Community Center, in Chapel Hill.

Volunteer roles include greeting guests, completing intake forms, preparing and serving food, voter registration, and other tasks

.Most shifts are 8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. or 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. or volunteers can assist with the set-up the night before (Monday, March 28, 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.) or clean-up after the event (3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.).
