Over 100 golfers gathered for the 29th Annual Carolina Kids Classic Charity Golf Tournament last Thursday.

The tournament, which was hosted by UNC head football coach Larry Fedora, raised $80,000 for the Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill, which is the only Ronald McDonald house that serves families from all 100 counties in North Carolina.

The Carolina Kids Classic has raised more than $3.8 million since it was created in 1988 by the legendary “Voice of the Tar Heels” Woody Durham and Greensboro businessman Mike Haley.

Fedora and Durham welcomed contestants to the Finley Golf Course, among whom were Director of Basketball operations for UNC Joe Holladay and former College Player of the Year for UNC Antwan Jamison.

Plans are already underway for next year’s 30th Anniversary tournament.
