New OWASA Board Member; New CIO at County’s IT Department; Orange County Website to Undergo Repairs
ORANGE COUNTY – Heather Payne is now the newest member of the Orange County Water and Sewage Authority.
Payne has worked as an environmental attorney with the UNC School of Law and is an appointee to the OWASA board by Chapel Hill.
Jim Northrup has been named Chief Information Officer for Orange County’s Information Technologies Department.
Northrup, formerly the interim CIO, was Operations Manager in the IT department for many years, overseeing the installation of a new phone system to connect multiple facilities.
The Orange County website will be undergoing maintenance from 4 to 10 a.m. on Sunday, July 14. During this time, the website may be unavailable to users.
The Orange County website can be used for a multitude of services; to look for job opportunities in the area, as well as register activities and events and look up information on farms and missing pets.
