CHAPEL HILL – Orange County Animal Services is hosting its fourth annual Open House this Saturday, June 1, from 12:00-4:00 p.m. at the Animal Services Center on Eubanks Road. This year’s open house will feature tours of the facility, canine demonstrations, scavenger hunts, face painting, free food and more. Other animal organizations will be there as well—including CLAWS, Inc., which will bring along some of their birds of prey.

The Open House marks the beginning of Cat Adoption Month: all June, Orange County Animal Services will feature adoption specials on select cats and kittens. Animals will be available for adoption at the Animal Services Center during the open house.

All members of the public are invited to the open house this Saturday. Park in the Eubanks Road Park and Ride lot if you’re not picking up or dropping off an animal; a shuttle will be available to take people to and from the facility.
