The Durham-Chapel Hill-Carrboro Metropolitan Planning Organization is asking for the public to comment on the MPO’s draft goals.

These goals influence policy and decision-making for the organization, which is responsible for planning transportation in the area.

Residents can take an online survey or comment directly on the goals through the organization’s website.

The MPO is also hosting a couple of events for those who would like to talk to someone in-person.

Residents can stop by the Durham Station Transportation Center any time from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 17, to speak directly with staff about the Goals or any transportation topic.

There will also be a public hearing held on Wednesday, March 9 at 9:00 a.m. at Durham City Hall.
