Actor Charlie Sheen made the announcement this week that he is HIV positive and acknowledged that as treatments have advanced there is still a stigma surrounding acknowledgement that an individual is HIV positive.
Lee Storrow is the Executive Director of the North Carolina AIDS Action Network and he spoke with WCHL’s Blake Hodge about the stigma that still exists and ways to combat that.
