One resident was treated for smoke inhalation after a structure fire Sunday afternoon in Chapel Hill.

Crews responded to the fire at 304 Burlage Circle at 4:41 Sunday afternoon, according to a release.

Officials say the caller reported that a grease fire was spreading. When crews arrived, the fire had spread up a wall and into the attic.

Fire crews from Chapel Hill and Carrboro were assisted by Orange County EMS at the scene.

Crews had the fire under control in less than an hour, according to the town.

The official cause of the fire is under investigation.
