You’re invited to tune in to WCHL this Friday, April 25, and next Wednesday, April 30, for a pair of forums featuring the candidates for Orange County Board of Commissioners.

On Friday, April 25, from 4:00-5:00, we’ll host the two candidates for the at-large seat on the Board of Commissioners, incumbent Barry Jacobs and challenger Bonnie Hauser. Then on Wednesday, April 30, from 6:00-7:00, we’ll host the two candidates for the District 2 seat, incumbent Earl McKee and challenger Mark Marcoplos. Both forums will take place in our on-air studio and air live on WCHL (97.9 FM/1360 AM), streaming live on Chapelboro.com.

All four candidates are Democrats, and there are no Republican candidates for either seat – so the winners of the Democratic primary on May 6 will be unopposed in the November election.

Aaron Keck will moderate the two forums. If you’d like to submit questions for the candidates, email him at AKeck@WCHL.com, or send us a tweet @WCHL.

Early voting for the May 6 primary begins on Thursday, April 24.
