Now that the 2016 election is behind us, it’s time to turn our attention to the future. What is next for the General Assembly? What does Donald Trump’s election as president – or Roy Cooper’s election as governor – mean for our local community? What are the biggest challenges? What are the greatest opportunities? And (most importantly) what can we do to be politically active in meaningful and effective ways?
