CHAPEL HILL – The UNC Department of Public Safety arrested a male UNC student early Sunday morning for breaking and entering rooms on the second floor of Granville Towers West.

The student reportedly entered a female’s room; she awoke to find him in her bed and asked him to leave. She told the police he left without a problem. He attempted to do the same in another female’s room and was again asked to leave. He did so without contestation.

The suspect continued to attempt to enter rooms on the second floor of the building before UNC Police arrested him. He was charged with two counts of breaking and entering.

As of Sunday morning, he was being held at the OrangeCounty jail under a secured bond.
