Durham Police said two were injured in two separate shootings, that took place nearly an hour apart Wednesday night.
The first shooting happened at a basketball court at 1126 South Hoover Road around 9 p.m. A 17-year-old male was shot in the leg. He was taken to the hospital for treatment.
The second incident took place at 10:19 p.m. in the 4500 block of Laymans Chapel Road. Police said two males broke into a home and a resident was shot in the back during a struggle.
The victim was taken to the hospital and police said the injury was not life threatening.
No arrests have been made in either shooting at this time.
