Over 58 grams of heroin were seized by the Chapel Hill Police Department on Monday afternoon from a hotel rendezvous that put the life of a Pittsboro resident in jeopardy.

According to police reports, the victim contacted a woman online who agreed to visit him at the Red Roof Inn on Fordham Blvd in Chapel Hill. After arriving at the hotel, he was robbed at knifepoint.

The alleged assailant, Devyn Linn Ford, of Martinsburg, WV, was apprehended along with two other suspects: Kylee Dawn Ford, of Chapel Hill, NC, and Davonte Leon Graves, of Durham, NC.

Hotel employees aided officers in locating the suspects, two of which were charged with drug offenses when 58.8 grams of heroin were located in their room.

Devyn Ford has been charged with trafficking heroin, maintaining a dwelling for controlled substances, possession with intent to sell and deliver heroin, and robbery with a dangerous weapon. Her bond was set at $2.5 million.

Kylee Ford has been charged with trafficking heroin, maintaining a dwelling for controlled substances, and possession with intent to sell and deliver heroin. She was also placed under a $2.5 million secured bond.

Graves has been charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and placed under a $1,000 secured bond.

The Durham County Jail is currently housing the trio, with first appearances in court set for them throughout the week.
