UNC Police have released a picture of the suspect wanted in connection with two break-ins at the Carolina Inn and a University residence hall over the weekend.
The Carolina Inn break-in happened Saturday night around 10:00 p.m., police said.
The suspect—described as a black male in his twenties, wearing a UNC baseball cap, dark blue windbreaker, blue jeans and a white t-shirt—was believed to be carrying a white Carolina Inn laundry bag.
Friday night, police believe the same man tail-gated behind a student into Craige Residence Hall. The man then asked a student about getting a cab ride but left the building after the student alerted the resident advisor.
Police haven’t said what property was stolen or damaged during the break-ins.
