A narcotics investigation led to Orange County authorities seizing nearly 30 grams of cocaine while executing a search warrant.

Officials say the investigation into drug activity at the home of 41-year-old Kevin Lee Alston on Gaines Chapel Road in Efland resulted in the arrest of Alston on Wednesday.

Alston has been charged with three counts of possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver cocaine, two counts of sell and deliver cocaine, one count of maintaining a dwelling for controlled substances and three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Alston was released from the Orange County Detention Center after posting a $20,000 bond, according to law enforcement.
