DURHAM – A Durham County judge once again signed the order to keep the documents pertaining to the investigation of slain UNC junior Faith Danielle Hedgepeth sealed for an additional 60 days.

According to the Chapel Hill News, the search warrants were resealed on Tuesday; the previous order had them sealed until Sunday, May 12th.

Hedgpeth was found dead in her off-campus apartment by her roommate on September 7, 2012. Investigators released little information initially but informed people that neither the campus nor community were in immediate danger. In January, information regarding DNA evidence of the suspected killer, a timeline of the night of her death, and a suspect profile were released. The cause of death has still not been announced.

Anyone with information is still encouraged to call the Chapel Hill Police at 919-968-2760 or Crime Stoppers at 919-942-7515. Calls can remain anonymous. You can also email information in to crimetips@townofchapelhill.org.

A reward up to $39,000  is still available to someone submitting information that assists in the case.
