Hillsborough Police are looking for a suspect in an early morning hotel robbery this week.
Police say that a man entered the lobby of the Holiday Inn Express on Cardinal Drive in southern Hillsborough around 2:30 Monday morning and demanded money from the clerk.
The suspect fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to a release.
A Carrboro Police dog assisting with the search tracked the suspect to a nearby apartment complex parking lot, but the subject was never found. Police describe the suspect as a black male between 6 feet 1 and 6 feet 3 inches tall and estimated to be between 170 and 190 pounds.

The hotel clerk was not injured in the incident.
