Durham Police are investigating what police are calling a “suspicious” death reported on Tuesday.
Authorities say officers were dispatched to 211 Stokes Street just after midnight on Tuesday morning to assist EMS. When officers arrive, police say they found 18-year-old Alondra Gonzalez Mejia unresponsive in her room.
Officials say she was taken to the hospital, where she died on Tuesday.
