Durham Police are looking for an individual after a man was shot in the face with a flare gun at a Panera Bread on Tuesday.

Investigators have charged 53-year-old Todd Newland Pope with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill.

Police say the victim and the suspect know and other and the incident does not appear to be random.

Pope is not in custody at this time.
