Chapel Hill Police are looking for information regarding a hit and run on Saturday.

Police say officers responded to a crash on Raleigh Road near E. Barbee Chapel Road just before seven o’clock on Saturday night.

Authorities say the victim’s vehicle was disabled in the travel lane with the hazard lights activated when a white Cadillac Escalade struck the stopped vehicle and fled the scene in the direction of Fordham Boulevard.

The victim was transported to UNC Hospitals and later released with minor injuries sustained in the crash, according to police.

The Escalade is believed to have front end damage from the crash.

Investigators are asking anyone who may have witnessed or stopped at the scene of the crash to contact law enforcement.
