Chapel Hill Police have arrested a suspect in connection with a breaking and entering report from Wednesday.
Authorities say police were called to a home in the 2500 block of Buxton Court just after 12:15 Wednesday afternoon. Police then located the suspect walking west on Weaver Dairy Road near Silo Drive approximately an hour later, according to a release.
Police have charged Stephen Ryan Rafferty, of Chapel Hill, with three felonies – breaking and entering, larceny and possession of stolen goods.
Rafferty is being held in the Orange County Jail under a $25,000 secured bond, as of Wednesday night.
