Arrests Made in String of Break-Ins

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrests of two individuals in connection with a string of break-ins.

Authorities say Keith Wayne Fields and Catina Ruth Smith have been arrested after a home security camera captured a break-in at a home on Dodson’s Crossroads in mid-February.

In that break-in, the homeowner reviewed the camera footage and saw a white male entering through a side window, taking a television and leaving through the front door.

Law enforcement officials say Fields and Smith are also wanted in connection with several break-ins in Orange and Guilford Counties.
