Authorities have issued an arrest warrant for first-degree murder against Mori Farrell Jr following a fatal stabbing Saturday morning.
Deputies and Emergency Services personnel were called to Green Pine Road in Cedar Grove and found Anthony Latta. Latta had died from apparent stab wounds.
Multiple search warrants were carried out by investigators with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office and North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation.
Law enforcement conducted multiple interviews and found evidence indicating Farrell “participated in the murder” of Latta.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Farrell – who resides on Sawmill Road in Cedar Grove, according to law enforcement – is asked to contact Investigator Goodwin with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office at (919) 245-2918.
