The body of Faith Hedgepeth, a 19-year-old UNC student, was found in her apartment on September 7, 2012.  More than four years later, the case is still active.

On Friday night, the ABC New program 20/20 will examine the death of Faith Hedgepeth.  According to ABC11, the report will show a, “never-before-seen composite of what the killer may look like based on DNA evidence found at the crime scene.”

Using the genetic code from that DNA, a software company out of Reston, Virginia can “predict the eye color, hair color, skin color, freckling, face morphology, and ancestry of the alleged killer.”

A $40,000 reward has been offered that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for Hedgepeth’s murder.

The report will air on Friday, September 23 at 10 PM on ABC11/WTVD.
