See it – but don’t say the name!

William Shakespeare’s classic tragedy “Macbeth” is coming to the Forest Theatre over the next two weeks.

It’s being staged by Bare Theatre, a Triangle-based company that specializes in minimalist performances – plays performed on a “bare” stage. (Hence the name.) Loosely modeled after Shakespeare’s original company, the King’s Men, Bare Theatre has been around the area for ten years, focusing primarily on Shakespearean works.

“Macbeth” director Rebecca Blum (also Bare Theatre’s associate director) spoke with WCHL’s Aaron Keck.

“Macbeth” runs for two weekends at the Forest Theatre, July 24-25 and July 30-August 1. Tickets and other information are available online at BareTheatre.org.
