It’s holiday season, and that means it’s time for holiday music.

Here in Chapel Hill, you can give your Christmas playlist a shot of local flavor: the Clef Hangers, UNC’s oldest a cappella group, has released a holiday album called “Carols from the Hill.” (The album was actually recorded and released in 2010 – it’s been available online for a while – but this is the first year it’s being made available in a retail store. You can buy it now at Southern Season in University Place.)

Clef Hangers member and tour manager Channing Mitzell stopped by WCHL this week and discussed the album with Aaron Keck. (They also played the opening track from the album, the Clef Hangers’ rendition of “All I Want For Christmas Is You.”)
