Earlier this week, antitrust economist and consultant for the Ed O’Bannon lawsuit Andy Schwarz wrote about two very different reform camps within the NCAA: the first, whom he pins “Team Change,” wants the NCAA to drastically reduce their salaries and expenditures to be more like club sports; the second, “Team Market,” believes that the NCAA should respond to market demands and pay its athletes accordingly.
