A man from Indonesia named Mbah Gotho has an identity card that lists his date of birth as December 31, 1870. That means he’s 145 years old. He has outlived all 10 of his siblings, four wives, and even his children. His nearest living relatives are grand children, great-grand children, and great-great-grand children.
The secret to longevity? “The recipe is just patience,” Gotho says.
The Eye
A weird island near the northeastern edge of Argentina is said to float on its own axis in the middle of a marsh. They are calling it “The Eye.”
Researchers have taken to Kickstarter to raise money so they can investigate. They want $50,000 and so far they’ve raised almost $5,000 as of Tuesday morning. Of course, aliens are involved.
Stolen Credit Cards for Bail
Don’t use a stolen credit card to bail out a friend. A former convict from Florida is probably going to go back to prison after using a stolen card with a bail bonds company.
