The Haw River Ballroom has only been open for three years, but in that short time it’s become a vital part of the Triangle music scene. Built from the dye house of a converted cotton mill in Saxapahaw, the ballroom is a welcoming venue tucked into the countryside. National stars like Lucinda Williams and Aimee Mann have already performed there, as have local standouts The Mountain Goats. It also doubles as a gorgeous space for weddings and parties!

And it’s still reinventing itself after 45 years, with a totally rearranged floor plan and new back room space improving the audience experience.

The ArtsCenter
