Today is Tuesday, September 6, 2016.  Hermine creates confusion.  Boston subway riders get a laugh.  Eat your spider problem.

Hermine Creates Confusion

A hurricane evacuation order was mistakenly aired a truncated message about storm system Hermine.  The message advised viewers on Long Island to evacuate.

That message was inaccurate.  Obviously, it caused a lot of confusion.

Boston Subway Excuses

Boston commuters ride the nation’s oldest subway system.  The rides don’t always go as planned.

So, a couple of commuters started the “MBTA Excuse Generator.”  You can find it here.

One recent “excuse” read: “Severe residual delays due to an earlier Tom Brady suspension hearing at Reservoir. We are pretty sure this makes us a World Class City.”

Eat Your Spider Problem

If you ever find yourself in the Cambodian town of Skuon, look out for spiders.  Specifically, look out for tarantulas.  They are everywhere.

One way to deal with the problem is to eat them, apparently.
